A middle-aged technician, Kazeem Akinsipo, has been killed by unidentified gunmen around Oba TT Dada Street in the Ota area of Ado Odo / Ota Local Government in Ogun State.
The killing of Kazeem occurred a few weeks after suspected cultists killed another person at a brothel on the same street.
The decreased Kazeem had reportedly just returned home when a gang of two armed men attacked him and went away with his motorcycle.
The assistant shot the deceased man in the stomach and used machetes to cut his head and other parts of the body.
A resident of the area, who pleaded anonymity while speaking with the Nigerian Tribune, told the newspaper that “he was shot on Tuesday night, but he died this morning .”
” He came to see his wife, and they were sitting outside when the two gunmen came and demanded the key of his bike.”
The resident also stated that “they shot him in the stomach and also used a machete to inflict wounds on his head .”
Another resident, Waheed, Waheed told the Nigerian Tribune that ” He was relaxing with some of his friends at nearby Akinbo Street when he was called to come home.”
He added that “when he got home, he parked his bike in front of the wife, and he sat outside and was talking with his wife .”
” He was taken to some hospitals in the area but they rejected him, directing that he be taken to the General Hospital
When contacted, the image maker in charge of the Ogun State Police Command, Omolola Odutola, told the Nigerian Tribune that the police were waiting to get any report of the incident as of Wednesday evening
