Gov Bala appoints Amirul Hajj team for 2025 exercise in Saudi Arabia

Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has approved the constitution of the 2025 Amirul Hajj team for the upcoming pilgrimage to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The team will be led by His Royal Highness, the Emir of Jama’are, Alhaji Nuhu Ahmed Wabi Mni as AMIRUL HAJJ .

A highly respected traditional ruler known for his wealth of experience, integrity, and leadership in religious and public affairs.

This team comprises individuals of proven dedication, administrative competence, and deep understanding of Hajj operations.

Their selection is based on merit, and their track records of selfless service. His Excellency expresses full confidence in the committee’s ability to discharge their duties with diligence, transparency, and commitment to the welfare of the pilgrims.

Other Members of the Amirul Hajj Team include the following : Rt. Hon. Abubakar Y. Suleiman – Speaker BAHA – Deputy Amirul Hajj, Justice Rabi Talatu Umar – Chief Judge of Bauchi State, Hon. Khadi Umar Liman – Grand Khadi of Bauchi State, Hon. Isa Babayo Tilde , Hon. Commissioner Local Govt & Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Bala Ahmed Baban Inna , Chief Imam , Bauchi Central Mosque as Members while Eng. Mohammed Binni Abdulkadir , Hon Commissioner Religious Affairs is the Member/Secretary.

Their appointment underscores the government’s unwavering commitment to provide guidance, religious oversight, support, and leadership to ensure the spiritual well-being of Bauchi State pilgrims throughout the Hajj exercise.

The Bauchi State Government under the inspirational leadership of Governor Bala Mohammed ,remains committed to ensuring that this year’s Hajj, like previous exercises is successful, hitch-free, and spiritually rewarding for all pilgrims.

The team will work in collaboration with relevant authorities, including the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board , National Hajj Commission of Nigeria ( NAHCON ) to ensure a seamless and successful pilgrimage.

Bala Mohammed urged the appointed team to discharge their duties diligently, with the utmost sincerity, and in accordance with the principles of fairness, justice and equity .

He called on all pilgrims to cooperate fully with the Amirul Hajj Team and uphold the sanctity and discipline expected during the sacred pilgrimage as contained in a statement by Mukhtar Gidado, Special Adviser Media and Publicity to the Governor.
