Gombe state Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has expressed sadness over the demise of a Frontline politician, businessman and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) in the state, Alhaji Adamu Yaro Gombe, popularly known as AY Gombe, who died on Wednesday.
Inuwa Yahaya described the deceased as a strong political figure, pillar, community leader and philanthropist, who impacted positively on the lives of many.
He recalled the late Alhaji AY Gombe’s support and valuable contributions to the All Progressives Congress, (APC) in the state both in the build-up to the 2019 general elections and during the transition period where he served as a member of the Information and Publicity Sectoral Committee.
The Governor said, ” I am deeply shocked and saddened to learn about the sudden demise of this respected gentleman. His death is a personal loss to me both as an ally and a good neighbour of many years. AY Gombe was indeed an exceptional man and illustrious son who contributed tremendously to the development of Gombe state and left an indelible mark in the annals of the state”.

“On behalf of the Government and people of Gombe State, I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and associates over this huge loss”.
“I pray Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannat Firdaus”.
Similarly, Governor Inuwa Yahaya has extended his deep condolences to the family of the late Hon. Sa’idu Jaudoma and the entire people of Dukku over the demise of the former state lawmaker, praying Allah to comfort his family with the fortitude to bear the loss and grant the deceased Aljannat Firdaus as contained in a statement by Ismaila Uba Misilli, Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to the Governor.
