Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has sent a message of condolence to families, relatives, friends and entire people of the state in the wake of a ghastly road accident at Gombe bye-pass which claimed lives of many people and left others critically injured.
The Governor who said his thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims in their trying moment expressed sadness over the recurrence of traffic accidents involving articulated vehicles around the same axis of the metropolis.
He urged operators of heavy vehicles and motorists, in general, to obey road safety regulations in order to safeguard the lives and properties of the people.
The Governor disclosed plans to introduce and implement more stringent measures that will help in curbing road traffic accidents in the state.
While praying for the repose of the souls of the deceased, Governor Inuwa Yahaya prayed for quick recovery of the injured as contained in a press release by Ismaila Uba Misilli, Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to the Governor.
