The German firm delegation, led by Milot Karid, gave the assurance during a courtesy call to Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency (NEMSA) headquarters on Wednesday in Abuja.
Karid said the visit aimed to strengthen the partnership between the two bodies with focus on renewable energy development, regulatory standards, and capacity building in Nigeria’s electricity sector.
According to him, the collaboration between the two agencies has seen successful development of the guidelines for the inspection and certification of solar mini-grids in Nigeria.
A statement signed by Ama Umoren of NEMSA, Public Affairs Unit, Ama Umoren, said the partnership has also supported targeted capacity-building initiatives for NEMSA personnel, aimed at strengthening the agency’s technical capabilities in ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards within Nigeria’s growing renewable energy sector.
