Give APC another 4 years to consolidate on its economic agenda ― Bauchi State gov

Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar

BAUCHI State Governor, Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar has appealed to the people of the state to ensure that those elected to the national assembly and all other levels in the forthcoming general elections are people that will help President Muhammadu Buhari to complete the economic and restoration agenda initiated by the APC led administration in 2015.

Mohammed Abubakar who stated this on Wednesday at a campaign rally in Dambam lamented that having the wrong people controlling the leadership of the National Assembly had slowed down most of the items on the economic and change agenda as well as policies and programmes of the ruling All Progressives Congress.

“We thank the almighty Allah that those bad eggs in our Party have eased themselves out because they have realised that it will never be business as usual in the APC. This gives us the opportunity to present the right calibre of representatives that will help President Muhammadu Buhari in executing such policies and programmes that the majority of Nigerians have been yearning since the return of democratic rule,” the Governor said.

The Governor explained that his administration has been able to achieve a great feat in the area of infrastructural development, improvement in security as well as in education, health and other critical sectors in past four years mainly because of the lifeline the President gave state governors and blockade of loopholes introduced in the state.

He, therefore, urged the people to come out in their numbers and vote for the candidates of the APC at all levels, assuring that the party will continue with its change and anti-corruption agenda that have turned around the fortunes of the country if given additional four years to superintend over it.

Mohammed Abubakar who commissioned primary health centres in Dambam and Madachi in Katagum local government area also received hundreds of defectors from the Peoples Democratic Party, including the Dambam local government chairman and all members of the executive.
