ABOUT 40 political parties have joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to sign a memorandum of understanding toward a possible merger.
Leading the parties to join the PDP to form a coalition are Buba Galadima of the Reformed APC, Olagusoye Oyinlola of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), and Sen. Dino Melaye.
The meeting took place in a choked Yar’Adua Centre Abuja featuring many political bigwigs who are determined to see the backs of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in next year’s election.
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Senate President David Mark, and numerous PDP presidential aspirants, among others, are present at the meeting.
