“In Ekiti State, for instance, we knew Dr. John Kayode Fayemi as a wonderful Governor during his first tenure in office. All of us are solidly behind him. And we will continue to support him.
“Remember that it was John Kayode Fayemi, during his first tenure in office, who approved and installed our Sarkin Fulani of Ekiti State, Alhaji Abashe Adamu. JKF is so wonderful to us. He is accommodating and he is passionate.
“This time around, we want him to further extend his hands of fellowship to the Fulani community. We want him to facilitate a sort of peace meetings between Fulanis, farmers and the indigenes to pave way for enduring peaceful coexistence across the state.
“The Governor-elect should please use his God-given talents to support us in our area of endeavour which is cattle breeding and cattle rearing.
“In the same vein, as we congratulate the Governor-elect of Osun State, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, we wish him a very successful outing in the firm belief that he will build on the solid foundation already laid by the outgoing Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola.”
On the 2019 general elections, the Fulani community spokesman enjoined Nigerians at home and abroad to support the second term aspiration of President Muhammadu Buhari to enable the administration continue its anti-corruption war undeterred thus restoring the lost glory of the country in the international communities.
