The Zone RS11 Osogbo of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) comprising Osun, Ondo and Oyo States on Thursday organised a one-day capacity building workshop for its Policy Research and Statistics as well as the Corps Safety and Engineering Desk Officers across the three states that made up the command.
The workshop, with the theme: “Crash Investigation and Report Rendition: A Critical Tool for Management Decision” was organised as part of the command’s efforts to reduce road traffic crashes and fatalities within the zone through Forensic Investigation of crashes, Quality Data Analysis, Report Rendition, and Implementation of recommendations arising from such investigations and data analysis.
The workshop, initiated by the Zonal Head of Policy Research and Statistics, Deputy Corps Commander Leye Adegboyega, was declared opened by the Zonal Commanding Officer, Assistant Corps Marshal Emmanuel Abe, represented by Deputy Corps Commander, Rasaq O. Salam, the Zonal Head, Motor Vehicle Administration.
About 46 officers across Osun, Ondo, and Oyo state commands of the FRSC attended the event.
