The State sector commander of the corps Faustina Alegbe, gave the warning whole addressing the congregations of SS Peter and Paul church in Lafia yesterday.
She however identified three major factors that causes road accidents which comprises; human, environmental and mechanical factors among others.
The sector commander, who was represented by the assistant Corp commander, head of training Godwin Akiiga further explained that the human factor include the inability to drive safely by those who were not well trained.

Accordingly, said the environmental factor which in most cases caused by rainfall washing away most part of the roads, adding that the case of break failing, warn out tyres and faulty wipers are all considered as mechanical factors, also tantamount to accident.
Akiiga further informed that the command would in no distance time extend same message to other protestants churches, motor parks and mosques across the state.
Accordingly he called on drivers in the state to be conscious of their driving by obeying all traffic rules and regulations.
“Over taking at dangerous bents, crest of the hill and other road traffic signs be maintain,” he added.
