“On December 9, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, we at MOK Foundation made a donation of N600,000 to the Joint National Association of Persons With Disabilities (JONAPWD) in Offa and Oyun Kwara state chapters.
“This donation builds on our previous support of N300,000 for persons with disabilities in Offa and Oyun local governments on November 18 and another N300,000 given to them that day being a day dedicated globally to celebrate the people with disabilities which summed up to N600,000.
“We are committed to empowering this marginalized community.
“Our founder, Mr. Muhydeen Okunlola, was represented at the donation ceremony by myself and others. The event took place at the Offa Descendants Union (ODU) Hall”, Tewogbola said.
He said that community solidarity is vital to support organizations like JONAPWD that advocates for the rights of disabled individuals.
