THE Ibadan Chamber of Commerce has inducted new members to join the array of business entities on its members’ list.
The induction ceremony held last Thursday, during the Annual General Meeting of the chamber at Commerce House, Ibadan.
Among the new member-companies are Foodco Nigeria Limited, Famous Ojays Nigeria Limited, Process and Industrial Control Nigeria Limited, Femtol Integrated Services, Virgo Services Limited, Boff and Company Insurance Brokers Limited, Edunet Integrated Services, NARL Consult and Abanise Loluwa Nigeria Enterprises.

After the presentation of certificates to the representatives of the companies, Treasurer 1 of the Chamber, Mrs Omotomilola Osunde, admonished them not to see themselves as members on paper, stressing that they should explore numerous opportunities that abound in being members of the chamber by coming regularly to check on various activities on the ground.
Also, the president of Ibadan Chamber of Commerce, Ismaila Alapa, presented an upward review of the annual subscription of member-companies.
According to him: “In order to move our chamber forward, the Executive Council recommended a slight upward review of our annual subscription to a maximum of 25 per cent except for Special Category which was not increased.
“The new subscription rates would take effect from January 1, 2020, if approved by this assembly. This step was considered necessary due to the rising cost of commodities and service in our economy and we have to ensure that our secretariat is effectively operational.”
