Tourism management expert Chika Obodozie has urged governments to devise proactive measures for effectively managing the nation’s vast tourist potential.
He contends that the challenges currently faced by the nation’s tourism sector are not insurmountable, drawing parallels with the historical experiences of more advanced nations.
These nations, at various points, encountered similar issues but successfully resolved them through pragmatic approaches, thereby preventing near extinction.
Interacting with journalists in Owerri during the weekend, Obodozie announce the emergence of the ultra-modern 5- Star Hotel with 300 capacity hall for sundry social events.
He said: “We want to be rated number one in the Hotel Industry East of the Niger and for now guests can enjoy all facilities here free of charge such as swimming pool and Gym”.
