Ex-PDP presidential aspirant charges Tinubu to address economic hardship

Former presidential aspirant on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr Nwachukwu Anakwenze has urged President Bola Tinubu to take responsibility for economic challenges facing the country and work towards finding solutions to the hardship.

Anakwenze made the call on Tuesday in a statement made available to newsmen in Lagos, emphasising the need to tackle the growing insecurity and economic challenges in the country, which he said had been a major concern to the citizens.

The PDP chieftain maintained that the pressing economic challenges and the hike in fuel prices needed to be tackled, urging President Tinubu to implement measures to alleviate the burden on the Nigerian people.

According to him, Tinubu must show decisive action, saying that as a leader, he should sheer away from the economic realities that the country had found herself at the moment.

“President Tinubu must step up and take responsibility for the economic struggles our nation is facing.

“Nigeria deserves a leader who will tackle the economic challenges head-on, and President Tinubu must rise to the occasion.

“We cannot afford to have a leader who shies away from the economic realities of our country. President Tinubu must show decisive action,” Anakwenze advised.
