Briefing newsmen on the outcome of the meeting, Dr Mrs Christiana Yaya-Kolade, announced that twenty-seven of them were at the meeting while those who couldn’t attend send representatives.
Yaya-Kolade, however, explained that the Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr Kayode Fayemi and a former Commissioner for Information in Lagos State, Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, were not part of the meeting.
According to her, the purpose of the meeting was to find ways of avoiding the mistakes that marred last Saturday’s attempt to elect a candidate from among them.

Yaya-Kolade, who was flanked by Mr Bimbo Daramola and Mr Ajayi Olowo, said they condemned what happened on Saturday, saying they condemned the violence that marred the exercise and “we are highly disappointed.”
She said they agreed as follows: “The quality of the ballot paper was not good and we condemn that. What we came up with is that there were poor preparations and when the preparation is poor, the conclusion will always be poor.”
They suggested that “the composition of the panel that will conduct the election has to be changed. We are requesting a new set of people, a completely new set of people to conduct the election.
“We want the election to be conducted in a closed hall.”
