In an effort to empower Nigerian youths with employability skills, EGO Foundation has partnered with OGITECH’s management, the Student Union, and Access Bank to equip over 5,000 students in Ogun State.
The training was held at the Twin Hall A, Ogun State, Institute of Technology (OGITECH), Nigeria.
The project is in line with its goal of reaching out to 5,000 students and recent graduates across tertiary institutions, equipping them with the right skills for employment, entrepreneurship and workplace skills.
The event had in attendance students from various academic disciplines, many of whom were in their final year, alongside a few lecturers and non-teaching staffs.
Toluwase Olaniyan, the Executive Director of EGO Foundation helped the participants understand what makes a CV standout and rejected by possible employers.
Olaniyan also led the participants on a journey of LinkedIn Creation and Positioning; the importance of investing in professional headshot; and developing a captivating introduction that best describes them and the values/skills they have to offer a potential recruiter or organization.
He strongly admonished the participants to improve themselves and become solution providers.
