Kano State governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has announced the appointment of 10 additional special advisers, including a special adviser on Wildlife Conservation in the person of Ahmad Sawaba.
This is according to a statement signed by Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the Chief Press Secretary to the governor.
This is the first time that a special adviser on wildlife conservation is being appointed in Kano State.
“In fulfilment of his campaign promises to place credible people in affairs of his government, the Kano State Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has announced the appointments of 10 additional special advisers.
“The appointments were based on merit, loyalty and commitment to serve the good people of Kano State,” the statement noted
Sawaba expressed delight at the appointment. He appreciated the governor for giving him the opportunity to work in his government and pledged his unwavering support. He promised to use his skills and capacity through his position to move Kano State forward.
