The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibadan Zonal Office has arrested 10 suspected internet fraudsters.
The suspects were said to have been arrested in their hideout along Akala-Expressway, Ibadan in the early hours of Friday by the officials of the commission.
EFCC’s Head, Media and Publicity, Wilson Uwujaren, said their arrest followed credible intelligence and weeks of surveillance on the location.
Some fraudulent documents and other instruments of fraud were reportedly recovered from them at the point of the arrest.
Uwujaren said the suspects would be charged to court as soon as investigations are completed.
