However, the immediate past President General of the Union and Special Assistant to Governor Francis Nwifuru on Solid Minerals David Aja, commended the processes of the election that brought his successor which according to him was very peaceful without crises as it used to be.
“Everything I saw today is very clear and there was no trouble, no violent and this shows a sign of a peaceful governor. Governor Francis Nwifuru, he has been so peaceful since he became the governor of Ebonyi State. If not, today, this the Isiagu Community Development Union election used to be violent because people use to fight or wound one and another but because of the peaceful condition, the election was done free and fair. I am telling Francis Nwifuru had no carbon, he is original and will continue to be original.
“My only advice to the President General is to promote peace like our Governor” he said
Meanwhile, in accepting Speech, the newly elected President General Arch. Moses Ajah thanked the Ishiagu Community for electing them peacefully and assured them to serve the community with the fear of God.
“I am filled with joy. This position is a call for challenge because it is the advocate that I have been a part of which is Community rendering service to the people and it does not matter where your heart is no matter how small you are, what matter is your love for the people and your zeal for your people and I have been involved in this for several years and I am glad that I am still in it irrespective of the fact that some say I am too big for the position but the truth of the matter is that I am not more than my people.
“So it is the quality of this that I, and my executives are willing to serve the people. We do not have the intention of reinventing the will because the will has long been reinvented and we are going to hit the road running with the will already there,” he said.
