The Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians in Anambra State and across Nigeria, congratulating them on the joyous celebration that marks the end of Lent and commemorates the crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The message was contained in a statement signed and made available to journalists in Awka on Saturday by his Press Secretary, Christian Aburime.
In his reflective goodwill message, Governor Soludo praised Christians for their prayers and steadfast commitment to the virtues of sacrifice, solemnity, humility, and spiritual renewal demonstrated throughout the Lenten season.

He also highlighted the inspiring significance of Easter, emphasising its lessons of selflessness, modesty, hope, renewal, and harmony as exemplified by Christ.
The Governor urged Christians to emulate these virtues and use the season to reinforce the ideals of personal sacrifice, mutual tolerance, and peaceful co-existence in Nigeria.
Governor Soludo further noted that the core lessons of Easter align with his administration’s vision for Anambra as a peaceful, livable, and progressive state—one where government policies foster social harmony, economic opportunities, and peace of mind for all citizens.
He joined millions across Nigeria and the world in wishing the Christian community a joyful and spiritually uplifting Easter celebration.
He also expressed hope that, just as Christ triumphed over death, a new and triumphant Nigeria would emerge—one where the dreams of both leaders and citizens can be fulfilled for a stronger and better nation.
