Speaking at the event which marked the commencement of his statewide gubernatorial campaign tour stated that he never forsake Ibarapa central when he was governor and it will not be different now.

“When I started the Ofiki bridge here in Idere, most people didn’t believe it will be completed but they can now say that we don’t make false promises. We will ensure all the communities they abandoned also enjoy the dividend of democracy, we will make life easier for all and send hunger away from people.
“They are systematically monetising education but we will ensure all education is absolutely free for our children. Those that were contesting against us were with us before they betrayed us. If you vote for them, they will betray and abandon you again. We know what we did for this community when we were there, what did they do for Idere since they assumed power,” he stated.
He promised that he will cater for abandoned communities, adding that, “we will not be far from you, we will be a listening government, not one that will become an emperor after getting your votes. We will not be far from you.
