The event is aimed at providing a platform for designers to build their brands and commercial creativity.
The organiser of the event, Mr Wale Aina, explained that overtime, the fashion shows he had witnessed were always featuring same set of designers, which made it almost impossible for discovery of new brands.
“I noticed that young Nigerians no longer buy their fashion wears from foreign brands, but from brands making their wears in Nigeria.
“Since I started attending the top fashion shows in Nigeria and I noticed that the showcasing designers weere not representing the fashion style of the youths of Africa.

“So, I came up with a plan to create a platform for this young street wear and emerging fashion designers to showcase to the audience that would actualy buy their products.”
Mr Aina explained that the December 9 event, would feature no fewer than 15 designers, 15 exhibitors/vendors, “where the best street wear and emerging designers in Nigeria will be showcasing their collections to dignitaries, celebrities, retailers, buyers, the media and the fashion savvy.”
