As the third wave of the COVID-19 continues to rear its ugly head killing more than 500 people in Lagos and over 1000 Nigerians in total over the past weeks, popular comedian and writer, Ali Baba has urged his followers to take caution.
Ali Baba who himself contracted the virus during its second wave revealed how he almost died in isolation as he exhausted more than six cylinders before he got better.
The king of comedy as he would love to be called stressed that he was alarmed seeing that people don’t believe that the virus exists and it is currently ravaging lives and killing people in its wake.
He urged his friends to take responsibility for their safety by observing the COVID-19 protocols, adding that taking the doses does totally immune one to the virus.
Ali Baba in his words said: “COVID-19 is real. Even if you have been vaccinated, it is imperative that you stay safe and keep others safe too,” he said.
