The Coalition of Nigerian Youth Leaders (CONYL), the umbrella body of all youth groups across the six geopolitical zones, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, OON, as the Head of Service of the Federation.
In a statement issued on Friday in Owerri, the President General of CONYL, Comrade Goodluck Ibem, praised the new HOSF’s leadership and unwavering commitment to enhancing the efficiency and integrity of the civil service, noting that her impact on the country has been profound and positive.
He said, “We express our sincere appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack as the Head of Service of the Federation.”
According to him, the appointment was a commendable and visionary decision, and he extended heartfelt thanks to Mr. President for making it.

He added, “Mrs. Walson-Jack’s appointment reflects Mr. President’s dedication to ensuring the continued growth and efficiency of the civil service.”
The PG described her leadership qualities and remarkable contributions to public service, stating that she has already demonstrated a strong commitment to improving government operations, fostering transparency, and enhancing service delivery to Nigerians.
He noted that under Mrs. Walson-Jack’s guidance, the civil service has witnessed tremendous growth in its capacity to deliver services that meet the needs of citizens.
CONYL highlighted that her innovative approaches and dedication to transparency and accountability have significantly improved governance and the delivery of public services.
While acknowledging that the nation’s development continues to benefit from her efforts, Comrade Ibem stated that her service has been marked by exceptional professionalism and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
He said, “She has indeed set a high standard for public service leadership, and we greatly appreciate her invaluable contributions.”
The youth body expressed their appreciation for her exemplary service to the nation, adding that her efforts have inspired many and that they are confident the positive changes she has championed will continue to benefit future generations.
They urged the HOSF to accept their deepest appreciation for all she has accomplished within a short time, expressing optimism about the continued success of the civil service under her esteemed leadership.
CONYL concluded, “We thank Mr. President for this significant step in the right direction for the nation. His foresight in appointing such a capable and dedicated individual will undoubtedly have a lasting positive impact on the civil service and the country as a whole.”
