The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Kaduna chapter has debunked the report of postponing its state congress scheduled to hold on Saturday.

Besides, the opposition party insisted that the the rumour of the postponement of the congress was the handiwork of enemies, saying that there was no change in the earlier plan to hold the congress on Saturday, September 21st, 2024.

In a statement on Friday, the PDP State Caretaker Committee Chairman, Chief Felix Hassan Hyat, said “we wish to clarify the rumours going round that the scheduled PDP State Congress slated for tomorrow, 21/9/2024 has been postponed is false.

“The party wish to categorically state that the state congress will still go on as scheduled, we call on all party men and women to disregard the rumour, as all necessary preparations for the congress is in progress.”

Hyat added that “all party officials and delegates to the state congress should come all out for the congress tomorrow (Saturday).”
