A clerk of the House of Representatives Committee on Agricultre, Mohammed Shuaibu, on Monday, slumped and died at the National Assembly, creating confusion among the lawmakers.
Shuaibu, was said to have slumped at the NASS annex and brought to the clinic in the White House.
He however, could not be resuscitated.
Shuaibu, who was said to have driven himself to Abuja from Zaria on Sunday, also reportedly drove himself to work in the morning before he died.
According to reports, Shuaibu came in early Sunday ahead of meeting of the committee on which he served.
The meeting was however, said to have been postponed due to his death.
He was said to have worked with the committee on Internal Security before he was moved to the House Committee on Agricultural Production and Services,
As at noon on Monday, the NASS management was trying to decide if his body should be conveyed to Zaria or not.
