The section reads: ” The Zonal Executive shall meet at least once in every quarter.”
In his reaction, Comrade Salihu said those who took the action were not vested to suspend a national officer.
He further cited Article 12.6, composition of Zonal Executive Committee; Article 25 D(iv), quorum of Zonal Executive Committee; and Article 21B (1-6), disciplinary procedure as conditions to be met before he can be suspended.
He dismissed his purported suspension as a nullity, as he alleged that those behind it were being used by certain individuals who were not comfortable with his stance on issues.
