Multi platinum-selling artist Chukwuka Ekweani, better known as Ckay, is set to embark on his Nigerian campus tour tagged ‘Boyfriend On Tour’.
The award-winning music star announced the campus tour on Saturday, 25th March 2023 via his Instagram page.
Fresh off his successful ‘The Sad Romance World Tour’ that cut across South Asia, Europe, North America and concluded at Harbour Point, Lagos, CKay is on a mission to bring his global appeal to his teeming Nigerian fans especially students who have been yearning to see him.
Some of the schools scheduled on the tour include Obafemi Awolowo University, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Babcock University, University of Ibadan, Afe Babalola University and University of Lagos.
Others are University of Calabar, University Of Nigeria Nsukka, Nnamdi Azikiwe University and Baze University in Abuja.
CKay also intends to spotlight homegrown talents on the tour and will reveal surprise guests for all 10 universities. Each university’s popular acts will also get a chance to rock the stage.
It is also noteworthy that the tour is powered by HP as the lead sponsor. Others are Warner Music, The Plug Entertainment. Trace is the official media partner of the tour.
