Born on August 18, 1980, in Uruebo village, this parish priest from Dunukofia has faced numerous challenges on his path to becoming the revered leader he is today.
His journey, marked by determination and faith, serves as an inspiration to many.
In August 2011, Chibuzo Emmanuel Obimma was ordained as a Catholic priest after rigorous training at the Pope John Paul II Major Seminary in Awka and the Blessed Iwene Tansi Major Seminary in Onitsha.

During his early years as a relief priest at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church in Uke, Chibuzo Emmanuel Obimma faced challenges that ultimately shaped his destiny.
Conflict with the parish priest prompted him to take a bold step—the founding of the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry in Uke.
This endeavour would prove to be a turning point in his life.
As of 2020, the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry is the largest in the Onitsha diocese, attracting thousands of worshippers from far and wide.
Beyond its spiritual impact, the ministry’s extensive charitable work has made a substantial difference in the lives of countless individuals.
Chibuzo Emmanuel Obimma’s leadership capabilities didn’t stop at the parish level.
His leadership expanded globally as he became the spiritual director of Father Ewelentan Parish and a rector, ministering to a worldwide audience.
One of his remarkable achievements was the formation of the Holy Ghost Fraternity Worldwide, with branches in 50 states in America, London, and South Africa, and members worldwide exceeding 20 million.
This global network has brought spiritual solace and support to countless individuals and communities around the world. Chibuzo Emmanuel Obimma’s commitment to education is also evident in his establishment of two schools, with over 50% of students receiving scholarships.
This initiative not only promotes education but also demonstrates his dedication to nurturing the potential of young minds.
Furthermore, Obimma is actively involved in training seminarians in different seminaries throughout Anambra, ensuring a new generation of dedicated priests to serve their communities.
