CCII honours 1app Technologies CEO, Adekunle, with Distinguished Business Leader Award

The Managing Director and CEO of 1app Technologies, Mr. Adekunle Opeyemi Paul, was, on Thursday, awarded the Distinguished Business Leader Award (DBLA) by the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII).

He was presented with the award at the Business Luncheon and Award Ceremony which took place at Ilaji Hotels and Resort on July 25th 2024.

The event which equally celebrated the outstanding contributions of business leaders in the community was attended by notable people including business leaders and government officials within and outside Ibadan.

A letter of conferment sent to Adekunle noted that he was honoured for his relentless and selfless service to the CCII and Ibadanland and also because he is a “distinguished and promising youth who’s serving as a role model for future leaders, particularly within Ibadanland.”

“I am deeply honoured to receive the Distinguished Business Leader Award,” Mr. Adekunle said in his acceptance speech. “This recognition is not just for me but for the entire team at 1app Technologies, whose hard work and commitment have been instrumental in our success. I am inspired to continue our mission of driving innovation and empowering future leaders in Ibadan and beyond.”

A statement by Adekunle’s media team noted that 1app Technologies, under his visionary leadership, has emerged as a leading fintech company, revolutionising the financial services landscape in Nigeria.

“His relentless pursuit of excellence and passion for technological advancement have positioned 1app Technologies as a key player in the industry,” the statement added.
