Can HIVinfect cows?

I recently read an online message about some HIV people having sex with cows so that the infected cows can equally infect people who eat such cows. Kindly let me know whether this information is true or false.

The information is absolutely false. Cows and animals cannot be infected with HIV since the virus is a human virus, thus, cows cannot transmit HIV.
