President Muhammadu Buhari has sworn in Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan as the substantive Head of Service (HoS) of the Federation.
He administered the oath of office on her on Wednesday shortly before the commencement of the meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) at the presidential villa, Abuja.

Yemi-Esan was appointed HoS in an acting capacity in September 2019 following a directive for the then HoS, Mrs Winifred Oyo-Ita, to proceed on indefinite leave to allow for the conclusion of her ongoing investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
After initially turning down her request for early retirement, it emerged last week that President Buhari had finally approved it, paving the way for the swearing-in of Yemi-Esan.
