Oluwatosin Ogunleye, popularly known as ‘Bro Bouche’ for the roles he plays alongside popular comedian, MC Lively in his social media skits has said the nation should watch out for him this year.
The law graduate, who hails from Ekiti State, has been in the acting industry for a few years and has appeared on TV series like ‘Jenifa’s Diary’, ‘ ‘Industreet’ and ‘Cornerstone’, all produced by veteran actress, producer now director, Funke Akindele.
Bro Bouche when he spoke with Saturday Tribune said: ‘Funke Akindele shaped my career to an extent and I’m always grateful. I have gone up to also feature in a couple of movies ‘The Johnsons’, a popular sitcom”.
Bro Bouche creates contents for comedies on Instagram and YouTube channels. He said this year, he is set to expand his territory in the comedy industry.
Bro Bouche spoke about his plans, and said, “This new year, my new comedy skit ‘Somewhere in Lagos’ that brings the reality of a typical hustling Nigerian barber on screen represents the realities of an average youth who would not go through fraudulent practices to make it, which is becoming a norm in our society now.”
The barrister, cum actor is embarking on bringing film idea in a shorter version, between one and five minutes. He hopes the skits, especially on Instagram, serves the purpose for which it has been created, to teach and bring relaxation.
“I am not a stand up comedian as people have started to think. I am just a funny actor who wants to bring to screen amazing contents, that will teach lessons and entertain viewers across the nation and the world,” said Bro Bouche.
