Newly sworn-in political office holders and other appointees in Bauchi State have been tasked to come up with new strategies that will enable the PDP led administration achieve success in its reform programmes, particularly in the health and natural resources sectors.
The call was made by the State Governor, Sen Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, while speaking at the swearing in of newly appointed commissioners, Alhaji Abdulhameed Nurudden, Dr Aliyu Mohammed Maigoro and Principal Private Secretary to the Governor, Dr Mohammed Musa Kirfi, stressing that the measure is to ensure every section of the state was represented in the administration.
According to the governor, they are to contribute to providing the citizens of the state with good healthcare services through the renovation of hospitals across the state.

Bala Mohammed who was confidence on the capacity of the Principal Private Secretary to deliver, enjoined him to work with stakeholders to ensure success and assured of his administration’s readiness to give opportunity to citizens of the state to participate in governance.
Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed also drew the attention of the appointees to work as expected by assisting his administration to the citizenry effectively because that was the reason for the election.
He said: “We brought all these 3 appointees on board because apart from we politicians who won the election, the people of the state deserved best practices and good services from us. The 2 commissioners are all young people representing the youths, even the PPS is a young person representing that constituency.”
Those sworn in as commissioners are Dr Aliyu Mohammed Maigoro who was posted to the Ministry of Health while
Alhaji Abdulhameed Nurudden was posted to the Ministry of Natural Resources.
