Bankers Committee stops charges for MFB customers’ BVN registration

The Bankers’ Committee, an umbrella body of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation and Chief Executive Officers of Deposit Money Banks(DMB), has banned banks from collecting money from customers of Microfinance Banks (MFBs), before registering their Bank Verification Number (BVN).
