Auto crash: NANS sympathises with Federal University Lokoja over students’ death

The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has expressed its deep condolences to the management and students of Federal University Lokoja following the tragic auto crash that claimed the lives of five students from the university.

“This unfortunate incident has left the Nigerian students in a state of sorrow, and our thoughts are with the families and friends of the deceased during this difficult time,” NANS President, Comrade Lucky Emonefe said.

Emonefe in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja, called on relevant authorities to ensure safety of Nigerian students.

“We stand in solidarity with the students and management of Federal University Lokoja as they navigate this painful loss.

“NANS calls for increased safety measures on our roads to prevent such tragedies in the future. We urge the relevant authorities to take immediate action to ensure the safety of all students and road users.

“Once again, we extend our heartfelt sympathies to the entire Federal University Lokoja. May the souls of the departed rest in peace,” the NANS President stated.
