Artiste and Lyrics releases ’50 Men Pure Dialect Praise, Worship Songs’

A new standard has been set in the Afro-gospel music industry in Nigeria with a record label, Artiste and Lyrics, assembling 50 gospel musicians to release a track titled, “50 Men Pure Dialect Praise, Worship and Prayer Songs”.

The first of its kind song saw the gospel musicians singing in different Nigerian languages and dialects such as Yoruba, Igbo, Igala, Owo, Edo, Efik, Ekiti, Akoko, Ife, Ijesha and many more.

Among the gospel musicians featured both home and abroad in the song are Mary Simon, Blessing Splendor, Pastor Aity Dennis, Kasarachi Faith Johnson, Olayinka Babs Atabatubu, Kunle Major- Abikeyin and Niyi Fadipe.

Others are Dr. Sola Cymbal, Successful Toyin, Onife Adediwura, Joy Adah Abiri, O.Phils, Blaccode, Seyi Senuga, Omotayo Adedeji, Ify Folorunsho, Toyosi Akinya, Fola Amoo, and many more gospel musicians.

The gospel song is the first to be delivered in local dialects by 50 gospel musicians.

When asked about the inspiration behind the song, the convener and executive producer, Kunle Major-Abikeyin, revealed that the songs are meant to invite the presence of God for revival, blessing, healing, victory, and prosperity for all and sundry.

He also shared that 50 Men Pure Dialect Praise, Worship and Prayer Songs is expected to be an annual music festival, reaching out to anyone who is comfortable using their native languages to sing to be part of next edition in 2024.
