Be agents of change, Osinbajo urges corp members

THE Acting President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof Yemi Osinbajo,  has called on corp members to be agents of change in their respective Place of Primary Assignments (PPAs).

The Acting President who was represented by the Deputy Governor Hon. Silas Agara made the call at the 2017 NYSC Batch A Stream 2 swearing in ceremony held at the Dan Yamusa Orientation Camp in Keffi local government area of Nasarawa State.

According to Osinbajo, if youths across the country especially corp members, embrace the federal government’s ‘change begins with me’ campaign, the nation would be free from greed and dishonesty.

Osinbajo, however, stated that corp members posted to government ministries and agencies should not be rejected and urged government agencies and private sector employers to assign challenging responsibilities to corp members.

Also speaking, the state Coordinator of NYSC appreciated the presence of Acting President who was ably represented by the deputy governor and thanked the state government for the successful rehabilitation of the network of roads at the camp.

She revealed that the Nasarawa state NYSC Camp for the 2017 Batch ‘A’ Stream 2 had a total of 1951 corp members with 946 males and 1005 females fully registered for the orientation exercise.
