As experience has shown over the years, the Super Eagles have always been victims of poor management, in-fighting and technical lacuna at the global fiesta. These must be addressed.
In addition, the team often suffers as a result of the poor welfare package, both at the pre-tournament stage and at the World Cup proper.
While it is fairly clear that the current set of Super Eagles are not the best that the nation has ever produced, the NFF can be at the vanguard of making them to give their best at the World Cup.
In this connection, it must ensure that the players and their technical crew are not owed allowances and bonuses.
This will make the players to put in their best at the championship and earn the respect of the football world once again.
The NFF must also address whatever issues are raised by the players.
