FOUNDER of the Olowo-Oloye Foundation, Dr. (Mrs) Oluwatoyin Sakirat Madein, has expressed gratitude to the people of Iperu-Akesanland in Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun State for the homecoming reception held in her honour on May 2.
In a heartfelt thank-you message, Mrs. Madein, the first female Accountant General of the Federation (retd), described the reception as unprecedented and beyond words, just as she specifically thanked the Iperu Akesan Development Association for organising the event, the dedicated planning committee for its seamless execution and the Alaperu-in-Council, Iperu Council of Obas, Baales, Olorituns, families, clubs, groups, associations, religious and political leaders, and all indigenes of Iperu Akesanland community, both home and in the diaspora for their support.
She extended special thanks to her husband, Adeleke Olusina Madein; children; the entire Madein family; the Olowo Oloye family; friends and dignitaries, including the state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun; the deputy governor, Mrs. Noimot Salako-Oyedele; Senator Gbenga Daniel; the member representating Yewa North/Imeko-Afon federal constituency, Hon. Gboyega Nasir Isiaka; members of the Ogun State Executive Council; chairman, Ikenne Local Government Area of the state, Jamiu Asimi and the Asiwaju of Remoland, Chief Solomon Onafowokan.
She also appreciated the success of the Olowo Oloye Foundation community outreach held on May 1, for the show of love and support received from the people of the community.
“The homecoming celebration organized for me will forever remain a cherished memory. I thank all sons and daughters of Iperu. May God continue to bless our community,” she said.
