AAU management lauds Okpebholo’s policies, interventions

The Management of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, has said the institution has been repositioned as a destination of choice for students’ academic pursuit, saying the institution is now enjoying good government policies under Governor Monday Okpebholo’s administration.

The Principal Assistant Registrar/Head, Information & Public Relations, Otunba Mike Adelegun Aladenika, disclosed this during an interactive session with journalists in Benin City.

He commended Governor Okpebholo for keeping to his promise, because, according to him, he has not failed to remit the N500,000,000 monthly subvention to the institution.

Aladenika said the institution is delivering on its mandate of providing quality education for the development of society.

The spokesman said, “For a very long time, the school was unable to induct medical students until Governor Monday Okpebholo intervened on the matter, leading to their eventual induction. AAU has also recently inducted 204 nurses.

“Also, before now, there were many issues that retarded the progress of the institution.

“But due to the genuine efforts being made by the present management led by the acting Vice Chancellor, Sunday Olowo Samuel, the university has been repositioned to be a destination of choice for academic excellence.”
