With a new tune to his name, US-based singer and rapper, A-Bate appear to be fast making name for himself beyond the shores of the country.
The Nigerian music industry is one which has many of its practitioners who are doing well outside the country and the path taken by many successful artistes in diaspora is one A-Bate wishes to tread as well.
His new tune, ‘This is it’, is already doing rounds on airwaves and charts and the singer explained that the inspiration to write the song came from his humble background.
“I grew up on the streets and the impact is an indelible one. My story is just one out of many Nigerians who rose from the streets before getting to where they are now. I channelled my experience into this and is one people are able to relate with,” the Owerri-born rapper added.

A-Bate enlisted Marly on the track to further drive home his message as Marly earned applause for his lines.
