Fuji music star, Sulaimon Alao Adekunle, popularly known as KS1 Malaika, has given the reason behind his decision to give his parents sports utility vehicles as part of the celebration of his mother’s birthday.

Her presented his parents with the vehicles in a gesture that reflected his appreciation for the sacrifices they made in raising him and his siblings.

Malaika shared photographs of the cars and the emotional moment with his parents on his Instagram page, where he explained that his decision was driven by gratitude for their years of sacrifice, prayers and support.

According to the musician, his parents endured difficult times while raising their children, making it important for him to celebrate and honour them whenever he has the opportunity.

“They both suffered a lot to raise us. I always celebrate them together,” Malaika wrote.

He further expressed his appreciation for the role his parents’ prayers and words of encouragement played in his life, describing their support as a major source of his strength.

“Your prayers keep going, and your words make me strong,” he added.

Malaika also prayed that his parents would continue to enjoy good health and live long enough to reap the rewards of their sacrifices.

The Fuji star then celebrated his mother, whom he affectionately referred to as “Iyemi,” wishing her a happy birthday.

The gesture has earned admiration from fans and followers, with many commending the musician for choosing to honour his parents with such a generous gift and for openly acknowledging the sacrifices that contributed to his journey.

For Malaika, however, the presentation of the cars was more than a lavish birthday gesture. It was his own way of saying thank you to the two people whose sacrifices, prayers and unwavering support helped shape the man and musician he has become.
