THE stage is set for the third edition of The Expatriates Business Awards (TEBA), Nigeria’s premier platform dedicated to celebrating the remarkable contributions of expatriate businesses, foreign missions, international personalities, and migrant communities to the country’s economic growth and national development.

The prestigious event is fixed for August 20, at the Rotunda Hall, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, as the chief host.

The ceremony will also feature the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, as the host, while the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Dunoma Umar Ahmed, will attend as the special guest of Honour.

Also expected at the event is the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mahmud Adam Kambari, alongside an array of distinguished diplomats, senior government officials, captains of industry, members of the diplomatic corps, and renowned business leaders from across the international community.

Speaking ahead of the ceremony, the Director of Awards, Odunola Abayomi, described this year’s edition as a milestone in strengthening Nigeria’s relationship with the international business community.

According to Abayomi, “The Expatriates Business Awards has evolved into Nigeria’s foremost platform for recognising the invaluable contributions of expatriate investors, foreign missions, international organisations, and migrant communities whose investments, innovation, and partnerships continue to create jobs, promote technology transfer, and stimulate sustainable economic growth across the country.

“This year’s edition promises to be bigger and more impactful as we honour individuals and organisations whose commitment to Nigeria has inspired confidence in our economy and strengthened bilateral and multilateral relationships.

“We are particularly honoured to have the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, as our Chief Host, reflecting the growing importance of international partnerships in Nigeria’s development agenda.”

She further noted that TEBA has become a unique platform that promotes economic diplomacy, celebrates excellence, and encourages greater foreign participation in Nigeria’s investment landscape.

As a trademarked initiative, The Expatriates Business Awards continues to distinguish itself as Nigeria’s leading recognition platform for foreign businesses.

The evening will feature the presentation of prestigious awards, colourful cultural exhibitions, high-level networking opportunities, and other entertainment, showcasing the rich cultural diversity and enduring partnerships between Nigeria and the global community.
