A political pressure group, PDP Youth Support Group, Red Cap Movement of Nigeria, Bauchi State chapter, has urged Hon. Mansur Manu Soro, the Member of the House of Representatives for Darazo/Ganjuwa Federal Constituency, to contest for the Bauchi Central Senatorial seat in the 2027 general elections or face legal action.
During a press conference in Bauchi, the group’s spokesperson, Hassan Usman Lanzai, emphasized the need for young leaders to challenge the political status quo under the “Not Too Young To Run” initiative.
Lanzai highlighted Soro’s impressive track record in the National Assembly, stating that he possesses the leadership qualities necessary for a higher office.

“Hon. Mansur Manu Soro has shown great dedication to his constituency’s development, earning the respect of the people. It is time for him to take his leadership to the next level by contesting for the Senate seat,” he said.
The group stressed that young leaders like Soro are best suited to drive progress in Bauchi Central and expressed readiness to mobilize support for his candidacy.
Lanzai, however, warned that failure to heed their call would result in legal action against Soro, as they demand accountability from leaders committed to public service.
The endorsement signals a growing movement among Bauchi youths seeking to reshape the state’s political landscape ahead of the 2027 elections.
