2023: South West youths hail APC over Bamigbade’s appointment

Mai Mala Buni

Nigerian Youth Parliament, South-West caucus of the 4th Session, has lauded the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) over the appointment of Hon. Seyi Bamigbade as the National Deputy Director South-West Youths and Students Council of the party, saying the party got it right if its intention was to get the youth in the region fully mobilized for the 2023 general election.

The youth said this on Sunday in a statement signed by the Caucus Chairman, Hon. Odun Akinyele, describing Bamigbade as a grassroots mobilizer, a round peg in a round hole and a renowned youth philanthropist with an unblemished record, and one whose leadership qualities were not in doubt.

“His antecedents speak volume. Hon. Bamigbade’s ability to perform creditably well in his new role is not in doubt at all. We have a round peg in a round hole,” Akinyele said.

Also, President of South-West Students Forum (SSF), Amb. Kunle Azeez, who spoke in the same vein, assured Bamigbade of the group’s support, saying members would work assiduously with the new appointee to create political awareness amongst the students in the region.

Azeez, therefore, lauded the acting National Chairman of APC, Governor Mai Mala Buni, and the National Director General of APC Youths and Students Council for their commitment to the development of the party.
