Bauchi State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has assured that it will be fair and just in the conduct of the party’s primaries in its bid to retrieve the power it lost to the PDP in 2019 gubernatorial election.
The assurance was given by the State Chairman of the party, Babayo Aliyu Misau, on Tuesday, when one of the gubernatorial aspirants, Nura Manu Soro, visited the party Secretariat.
The Chairman admitted that the party made mistakes in the build-up to the 2019 general elections in the state but has corrected all mistakes and brought together all the then Aggrieved parties and that party is now one.
He, however, advised all the aspirants to tread with caution in order not to breed hatred among themselves which will have negative impact on the followers reminding them that the delegates are only going to vote for one person.
Babayo Aliyu Misau appealed to whoever emerged victorious to carry others along while the losers should accept the outcome in good faith knowing that the party has a target of returning to power.
