2023: APC has lost its final match ― Saraki

Saraki

A former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has said that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has just lost its final match and cannot win the 2023 general elections because the party has ruined Nigeria.

Saraki stated this on Wednesday in Maiduguri, while soliciting the support of stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Saraki who was represented by the national chairman of his 2023 presidential campaign council and advocacy, Prof. Tyorwuese Hagher, said the campaign team was in Maiduguri as part of its sensitization tour across the country.

According to him, the All Progressive Congress (APC) has succeeded in bringing unnecessary hardship and suffering to Nigerians and life has been tough.

He added that “APC has just lost its final match and that is the end and Nigerians cannot continue like this.

“On our way to this place we saw children, women, old men and young men who are despair and we will our best save these people.

“Our country has suffered seriously from the leadership deficit and we needed a leader who is efficient because from 1960 to date we are still crippled with significant problem of unity.

“There are people who are thinking pre-colonial, we are thinking about 1914, North and South, we need a leader who beyond that, we need who will reflect the needs of the moment.

“The need of the moment is that Nigerians yearning for a leader who has a clear vision and will restore the dignity of Nigeria, unite us so that every Nigerian will feel that he /she is the citizen of this great country.

“A country that can have the best institutions, the country with agriculture that will feed the world, a country where the security of life and property will be the first priority, with very strong leadership.

“Saraki is that Nigerian leader, the leader who will unite us, who will unite all the various languages in this country because he is a broad-minded person.”
