THE senator representing Nasarawa West at the National Assembly, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, has called on political candidates in the state to shun hate speech and avoid politics of bitterness that is capable of dividing the nation.
He also urged electorate not to vote for corrupt people into power, but rather vote President Muhammadu Buhari, whose if reelected next month would deliver Nigeria from it travails.
Senator Adamu made this known on Sunday at the official flag off of his reelection campaign in Nasarawa, the headquarters of Nasarawa Local Government of the state, expressing that Buhari’s reelection would sustain the current ‘change’ mantra of the party.

The former Governor, who is going back to the senate for the third times, however, reiterated his commitment to empower more women, youths and care for the aging people, if given the senatorial mandate of the zone.
According to Adamu, APC as a party is waxing stronger in the state every day, adding that many stakeholders including market women, traders’, youths and businessmen have noted that the government meant well for the entire nation.
“The three years of APC government we have witnessed a lot of tremendous progress in the area of infrastructure and human development”, he added.
Similarly, Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura also reiterated state government commitment to ensure that president Buhari wins in the state sand Adamu reclaim his seat for the third time, considering the role he played in bringing everlasting peace at the red chamber during the crisis the red chamber.
The governor, who was represented by his deputy, Mr Salas Ali Agara, acknowledged the remarkable contributions of the APC senator in the red chamber since the inception of the eight national assemblies in 2015.
He added that senator Adamu remains a national asset, who should be returned to the national assembly as his reward for statesmanship to have president Buhari in rebuilding the country and also attracts government presence to the state.
