A Chief Magistrates’ Court in Kaduna, on Tuesday, ordered that two tailors Hassan Ibrahim, 20 and Ibrahim Habibu, 18, be remanded in prison for alleged robbery.
The Magistrate, Mr Musa Lawal, who did not take the plea of the defendants, ordered that they be remanded in prison pending legal advice from the State Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
Lawal then adjourned the matter until Sept. 30 for further hearing.

Ibrahim and Habibu, both residents of Mando, Kaduna, were arraigned on a two-count charge of criminal conspiracy and robbery.
Earlier, the Prosecutor, Insp. Yusuf Inuwa told the court that the case was reported at the Kawo Police Station by one Mohammed Bello of Unguwan Dosa, Kaduna.
Inuwa alleged that the defendants committed the offences on Aug. 9, at Rajama Close Unguwan Dosa.
According to him, on the said date, at about 4.00 p.m. the defendants conspired with one Daddy Star Boy, now at large and attacked the complainant with knives while on his way home.
The prosecutor alleged that the complainant was robbed of his phones, an Infinix X6 and Tecno K7, all valued at N72, 000.
Inuwa said that during the investigation, the defendants voluntarily confessed to the crimes which contravened sections 59 and 283 of the Kaduna State Penal Code Law 2017.
